On Friday, November 18th, AADS hosted its 2nd Humanities Afternoon - "Crossing the Sahara and Back: African Feminisms in Dialogue." The event, which brought together students, faculty, community members and leaders, featured stimulating presentations from internationally renowned speakers, whose works focus on interrogating, theorizing and actively engaging gender issues within a transnational perspective.
